New arrivals arrive by the boatload this Flipover Friday, with Dave Matthews at the helm of iTunes and Summer Walker leading the way at Apple Music.
Walk Around the Moon, Dave Matthews Band’s 10th studio album for RCA, leads an all-new Top 5 at iTunes. It’s followed by Sleep Token’s third studio album, Take Me Back to Eden (Spinefarm), at #2 and Ghost’s Pantomime–EP (Loma Vista) at #3.
Lewis Capaldi’s second full-length, Broken by the Desire to be Heavenly Sent (Capitol), breaks in at #4, while Def Leppard’s Drastic Symphonies (Mercury), a collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, strings along at #5.
The soundtrack to the live-action version of The Little Mermaid (Disney), featuring the songs of Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Lin-Manuel Miranda, emerges from beneath the sea at #7. Elevation Worship’s self-released CAN YOU IMAGINE? is #8, with Summer Walker’s Clear 2: Soft Life–EP (LVRN/Interscope) rounding out the Top 10.
Walker’s 10-song set is the only album in the Top 10 of both charts, hitting #3 at Apple Music.
Sitting just outside the Top 10 at iTunes are new releases by Brandy Clark and Paul Simon along with the Fast X soundtrack.
Speaking of Fast X, Jimin’s single from the latest Fast & Furious soundtrack, “Angel Pt. 1” f/Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE & Muni Long, tops the iTunes songs chart.
Bad Bunny’s “Where She Goes” (Rimas) is in the Top 20 at both Apple Music and iTunes.
