T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION UNVEILS GALA HONOREES

The T.J. Martell Foundation has unveiled the honorees for its New York Honors Gala, which will return to NYC for the first time since 2019. The 45th annual event will take place at Cipriani 42nd Street on 6/13.

Three music execs will be honored this year: Warner Records Co-Chairman/COO Tom Corson will receive the Lifetime Music Industry Award, Def Jam Recordings Chief Creative Officer/EVP Archie Davis will receive the Rising Music Superstar Award and Grammy-winning and Tony-nominated songwriter-producer Shane McAnally will receive the Spirit of Music Award.

Board Chairman John Esposito and gala Co-Chairs Tunji Balogun, Aaron Bay-Schuck, Robert Carlton, Steve Gawley, Laura Swanson and Julie Swidler will serve as hosts. Entertainment will be provided by Coco Jones and Brandy Clark. Black Panther director Ryan Coogler will be a featured presenter.

T.J. Martell was founded in 1975 by music-industry executive Tony Martell, whose son, T.J., died of leukemia that year at the age of 21. To date, the organization has provided more than $280m for research to nine flagship hospitals in the U.S.
