POLLSTAR REVEALS LIVE BIZ TOP 50

Pollstar has released its list of the Top 50 executives in the live business. The current issue features Madison Square Garden’s James Dolan on the cover.

The Q&A with Dolan covers the upcoming opening of The Sphere in Las Vegas and U2’s inaugural run at the venue but does not get into Julius Randle’s future with the Knicks.

Among the 2023 honorees are Goldenvoice’s Paul Tollett and Live Nation’s Michael Rapino, who are deemed “visionaries”; CAA’s Rob Light finds his name among the “influencers”; Live Nation’s Arthur Fogel and Bob Roux are “deciders”; Full Stop’s Jeffrey Azoff is among the “builders”; and UTA’s Sam Kirby Yoh and SALXCO/XO RecordsWassim "Sal" Slaiby are "negotiators." Irving Azoff lands in the “disruptors” category. Find the full Top 50 here.

Pollstar owner Oak View Group will be throwing a cocktail reception for the honorees on Tuesday in Beverly Hills. Even money says there will be blintzes from Nate ’N Al’s.
