Ed Sheeran will perform his new album, - (aka subtract), in full for the first time Wednesday (5/10) on the second season debut of Apple Music Live.
The show will debut at noon PT/3pm ET on Apple Music, then stream on Apple TV+ beginning at 1pm PT.
Sheeran’s performance, taped at the Eventim Apollo in London, features a 12-piece band that includes Aaron Dessner of The National.
“I was really nervous on the day, as it was my first time performing the new album tracks,” Sheeran said. “The show was brought to life by Aaron and the incredible band, and it was an honor to stand beside them. It was an emotional night, but I’m so pleased we got to document it.”
A trailer for Sheeran's appearance on Apple Music Live can be found here. We hear he will not be doing mashups of hits from the ‘70s.
