AWAL APPOINTS OPERÉ VP OF PUBLICITY

AWAL has appointed Cami Operé VP, head of publicity. She will join the company’s Marketing and Creative team, led by GM/Head of Creative Bianca Bhagat, and marketing VPs Justin Macchio and Katie Baloian.

Operé was previously VP of publicity at Sacks & Co., working with AWAL acts like Lizzy McAlpine, Jungle, Bruno Major, Eloise and Ber. She's also managed media campaigns for Maren Morris, the Tom Petty estate, The xx, King Princess and Aimee Mann, among others.

AWAL’s current roster includes Little Simz, JVKE, Tom Misch, deadmau5/kx5, Disclosure, JPEGMAFIA, Noname and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The company also helped launch the careers of Steve Lacy, Rex Orange County, FINNEAS, Kim Petras and Lil Peep. Find all things AWAL here while we try to find what's left of our dignity.
