Mel Carter’s Second Estate Records is adding to its executive suites as it pushes the music of 2Rare via its JV with Warner Records.

Adise Bellille has joined Second Estate as president and Katie Kay as general manager. Both will shepherd upcoming releases by Philly club phenom 2Rare and other acts.

"Katie and Adise are both talented music executives who understand how to move an artist in an ever-changing landscape,” Carter said. “With their knowledge and expertise, I'm confident we can take Second Estate to the next level. This is a huge win for our label and the roster we're developing.”

Kay, a former HITS Noisemaker, was previously VP of marketing at Cinematic Music Group, working on releases by Flipp Dinero, Big Yavo and Cam’ron. Bellille, founder of New York-based nightlife hub Carefree Nation, has owned and operated such hot spots as Greenhouse NY, W.I.P. and Kovo.
