LL COOL J is hitting the road for his first headlining arena tour in 30 years. Dubbed The F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live, the 24-date run is being co-produced by LL COOL J’s company Rock the Bells and Live Nation Urban. Special guests, selected by Ladies Love Cool James himself, include DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Roots and J's longtime tour DJ, Z-Trip.
Moreover, Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Rakim, Common, MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice-T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, De La Soul, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss and Rick Ross will join the rotating bill in select cities.
Unlike the traditional opening act/headliner format, the show will be a mashup of performances interwoven in a continuous set backed by The Roots.
The tour kicks off 6/25 in Boston and hits the Barclays Center 6/27 in Brooklyn, then continues to Newark, Toronto and Baltimore, among other locales. It wraps 9/3 at the Kia Forum in L.A.
"I’m excited to be on my first arena tour in 30 years," said LL COOL J. "It’s proof that our culture is more viable than ever. Get ready for some nonstop beats and rhymes."
