Primary Wave Music has acquired a majority stake in Sarah McLachlan’s songwriting and recorded-music catalog, including the hits “Angel,” “I Will Remember You” and “Hold On.”
PW will also market McLachlan’s name and likeness. Kenny Meiselas and his partner Stuart Prager repped the artist in the deal.
“I’m so delighted to be working with Larry [Mestel] and the whole team at Primary Wave,” McLachlan said. “First and foremost, they are music fans, and I’m confident that this new partnership will enable us to nurture my catalog of music carefully through the ever-changing landscape of the music industry.”
McLachlan has released nine studio albums, the most recent being 2016's Wonderland.
