FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

Songs of Surrender (Interscope), U2’s collection of 40 re-imagined and re-recorded songs from its catalog, leads the iTunes album chart this Flipover Friday, while Taylor Swift takes the top slot on the song side.

A trio of rock acts follow Upchurch’s Pioneer (Mud to Gold) at #3: All Time Low’s Tell Me I’m Alive (Fueled by Ramen) at #4, Theory of a Deadman (Roadrunner) #7 and Pop Evil’s Skeletons (MNRK) at #8.

Elsewhere, M83’s Fantasy (Mute) is #6, Bethel Music’s Come Up Here (Bethel) rises to #9 and the compilation Stoned Cold Country (Broken Bow) chills at #10.

Swift’s new release, “All of the Girls You Loved Before” (Republic), is one of four Tay tracks in the Top 10. The new release coincides with the start of her Eras Tour tonight (3/17) in Phoenix. Jimin lands at #2 with “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” (BIGHIT).

Eladio Carrion’s 3MEN2 KBRN (Rimas) is the top new arrival at Apple Music, starting at #12.

It’s anyone’s guess how green-beer consumption will affect the charts as the day wears on.
