U.K. MIDWEEKS: MILEY SET FOR CHART DOUBLE

Miley Cyrus is heading for her first U.K. Official Albums #1 in 10 years with Endless Summer Vacation (RCA). Over on singles, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding have the week’s highest new entry.

Endless Summer Vacation has nearly doubled the sales of its closest competitor at today’s halfway point.

Sleaford Mods are at #2 with UK Grim (Method), while Van Morrison’s Moving on Skiffle (Exile) could land at #5. Country duo Ward Thomas are new at #6 with the self-released Music in the Madness. And South Korean girl group TWICE are heading for a #7 debut with EP Ready to Be (JYP).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Miley Cyrus is still #1 with “Flowers.”

PinkPantheress remains strong competition with “Boy’s a liar” (Parlophone), at #2. Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Miracle” (Columbia) is the highest new entry today at #3. Libianca’s “People” (Jonzing Worldwide/Mavin) could rise two to #6 on Friday, while Cyrus’ newest single, “River,” is on track to debut at #10.

Strandz is moving closer to the Top 10 with “Us Against the World” (Relentless), potentially up one slot to a new peak of #11. After being announced as the U.K.’s Eurovision 2023 entry, Mae Muller’s “I Wrote a Song” (Capitol) is heading for a Top 20 debut at #19.
