REPUBLIC KIDS INKS ERSTWHILE WIGGLE SAM MORAN
Well-respected children's artist Sam Moran, former star of Nickelodeon Australia's Play Along With Sam and leader of The Wiggles, has signed with Republic: Kids & Family. His forthcoming single will be the new division's first release.
“When launching Republic Kids I knew I had to sign Sam as an artist,” said VP, Marketing and Strategy Bree Bowles. "He is the perfect complement to our mission of producing world-class music that can be enjoyed by both kids and their parents. Sam's musical talents are beloved by so many, and these new efforts will help to redefine the future of 'kids' music.”
While with The Wiggles, Moran sold out Madison Square Garden 18 times and earned a spot in the ARIA Hall of Fame. He has a masters degree in Screen Business and an honorary doctorate in child development.
There has never been an official HITS kids division, though certain departments used to take field trips to Med Men.
