There’s a battle brewing for the #1 spot between SZA’s SOS (TDE/RCA), the YTD champ, and KAROL G’s MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO (UMLE). Both albums are tracking to full-week activity of 80k+, with SZA holding a slight lead.
Field Trip/Geffen’s Yeat is solid for a Top 5 debut, nearly doubling the 32k opening of 2022's 2 Alivë.
The Weeknd’s “Die for You (Remix)” f/Ariana Grande (XO/Republic), meanwhile, will fuel gains for either The Highlights or Starboy depending on which logs the greatest number of pure album sales by Thursday night—for now, we’re awarding it to The Highlights. And Gorillaz (Warner) could round out the week’s Top 5 with Cracker Island.
