TDE/RCA’s SZA logs a 10th week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with SOS, now the longest-running #1 album by a female artist this decade. SZA also becomes the first female artist to reside on top for 10 weeks since Adele did so back in 2015 with 25. The historic feat comes as the R&B star embarks on her first headlining arena tour, the convergence solidifying her place as a generational talent. SOS appears to control the YTD activity race, crossing 800k, as SZA teases 10 more tracks ready to drop.
P!nk’s TRUSTFALL, meanwhile, gives Nipper the top two spots on the chart. The pop vet leads the week in pure sales, which account for 60k of the 75k+ earned by her ninth studio album.
Projects from Republic all-stars Taylor Swift, Metro Boomin, Drake, Morgan Wallen and The Weeknd maintain their presence in the Top 10.
There’s no Super Bowl hangover for Rihanna; her most recent LP, Anti (Westbury Road/Roc Nation/Def Jam), settles into the Top 10 more than a week after her halftime performance.
MCA Nashville’s Jordan Davis scores the week’s second-biggest bow with Bluebird Days, at #16.
Streeting this week are new titles from Field Trip/Geffen’s Yeat, Universal Music Latino’s Karol G, Interscope’s Gracie Abrams, Capitol Nashville’s Dierks Bentley, Warner/Parlophone’s Gorillaz and EMPIRE’s Key Glock.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, due to a recent L.A. weather event, we need to find a canoe paddle to steer our car.
