The Roots and Live Nation Urban have unveiled the lineup for this year's Roots Picnic, going down the weekend of 6/3-4 at The Mann in Philadelphia. A special performance by Dave Chappelle and The Roots will precede the two-day festival on 6/2 at the Wells Fargo Center.
In addition to Chappelle, the event will be headlined by Diddy with The Roots, Lauryn Hill, who will perform The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and Lil Uzi Vert. Other performers include Eve, Ari Lennox, City Girls, GloRilla, the Isley Brothers, Little Brother, Roy Ayers and Lucky Daye. The fest will also see a reunion of Philly's State Property (Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Peedi Crakk, Oschino, Sparks, Young Gunz).
Meanwhile, the Podcast Stage will boasts live recordings with Charlamagne Tha God, Off the Record with Akademiks, Don’t Call Me White Girl, Lip Service with Angela Yee and Questlove Supreme, among others.
