Disney Music Group and Andscape, a multimedia platform dedicated to sharing Black culture, have struck a label deal with producer-songwriter D’Mile, engineer John Kercy and exec Natalie Prospere for a new imprint, Good Company.

In addition to signing and developing artists, Good Company will be involved in a variety of other Andscape projects, including the documentary Shyne, about the artist's evolution from hip-hop to the Belize House of Representatives.

“It’s special and unique to have a shared vision for the future of music and the opportunity to visually tell new stories with Andscape,” said DMG President Ken Bunt. “We can’t wait to collaborate with D’Mile, Natalie and John and the Andscape team to deliver on this goal."

A BMI Songwriter of the Year who's worked with Rihanna and Bruno Mars, D’Mile is the first songwriter to win back-to-back Grammys in the Song of the Year category, for H.E.R.’s “I Can’t Breathe” in 2021 and Silk Sonic’s “Leave the Door Open” in 2022. He won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for co-writing and producing H.E.R.'s 2021 “Fight for You” from the film Judas and the Black Messiah.

Kercy has worked with the likes of Lil Wayne, Diddy and Ty Dolla $ign. Prospere is a veteran artist-development and talent-management exec.

“D’Mile, Natalie and John are special individuals—each true to Andscape’s vision," said Andscape VP and Editor-in-Chief Raina Kelley. "They are deep and dimensional multi-hyphenate storytellers and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Andscape family. This incredible partnership vaults forward Andscape’s evolution as a content creator across The Walt Disney Co.”
