The Chamber Group has promoted Lydia Kanuga to VP of media relations. Based in New York, she'll report to TCG principal/founder Chris Chambers.
Creating and executing publicity strategies for Chamber's roster—which includes Usher, the estate of Michael Jackson, Mass Appeal, King Combs, Jozzy and Toni Braxton—Kanuga will now also take a leading role in business development.
"I'm excited to have a seasoned executive such as Lydia working alongside me at TCG overseeing the entertainment division,” said Chambers. “Lydia is passionate and honest in her work style and it's what makes her a talented publicist and leader.”
“Chris has my deepest gratitude for trusting and believing in me to take on this role. I look forward to continued success at the company,” said Kanuga.
Prior to joining TCG in early 2022 as director of PR, Kanuga spent two years as 12Tone Music’s head of PR and corporate communications, four years at Def Jam as a publicity manager and five years at boutique PR firms after getting her start at Columbia.
