HUMAN RE SOURCES UPS TAKEDA TO VP

Human Re Sources has welcomed Junko Takeda to the fold as the artist distribution and services company’s new vice president.

Based in L.A. Takeda will report to Human Re Sources CEO/founder and The Orchard EVP J. Erving, overseeing daily label relations of the company's L.A. and Atlanta operations. She’ll also continue to build the company’s roster of artist clients with support from The Orchard.

Takeda previously served at Warner Chappell Music as head of A&R operations. She has experience in radio promotions/sales, corporate communications, global digital business, artist relations and brand integration. Her CV also includes positions at RCA Records, Interscope Geffen A&M Records and MTV Networks.

“Junko has an amazing track record of elevating artists to the next level,” Erving said. “Having her expertise as we help artists like RAYE and Kelz reach their career goals is invaluable. We are a home for independent creatives and under Junko’s purview, will continue to provide them with the best services possible.”

HRS' new veep has already instructed her team to put any calls from HITS on hold for at least six hours.
