AEG "RE:SETS" YOUR SUMMER VIBES

AEG has announced a fresh take on the summer festival with the launch of a new concert series, Re:SET. LCD Soundsystem, boygenius and Steve Lacy will headline the 12-city fest, which will take place over the four weekends in June.

According to its website, "Re:SET was conceived as an artist and fan-friendly alternative to the standard summer concert experience. Each weekend will see three cities in the same region hosting, with each Re:SET headliner playing each city on consecutive days.

"The concept provides artists a respite from the cookie-cutter summer itinerary of sheds and amphitheaters while fans get a leisurely day that features full sets from every artist on one stage with no conflicts."

Re:SET headliners will also serve as support-act curators. Accompanying LCD Soundsystem will be The xx’s Jamie xx, IDLES, Big Freedia and L’Rain, among others. Lacy will bring along James Blake, Toro y Moi and Fousheé, while Clairo, Dijon and Bartees Strange will join boygenius, the indie-rock trio comprised of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.

Each venue will feature food and drinks from local restaurants, bars and breweries curated for that particular city.

"We challenged ourselves to conceive an event that would give both the artists and the fans a different experience,” AEG Presents President of Global Touring and Talent Gary Gersh said. “At the end of the day, they both want the same thing: great locations, incredible sound, fantastic sight lines and the best local options for food and drinks.

"Re:SET is a very fairly priced, artist-driven weekend where you can hang with friends and enjoy an evening of amazing music.”

Registration for Re:SET tickets begins Tuesday (1/31); tickets go on sale to the public 2/10. Click here for dates and additional details as we prepare for LCD Soundsystem's set by enveloping ourselves in silver fabric and tinfoil.
