GG SAYS "OUI" TO NEW UMG FRANCE ROLE

Guénaël “GG” Geay has been promoted to deputy director of Polydor France and international marketing director for Polydor and Island/Def Jam France. In this new role, he’ll oversee all releases from Interscope, Island, Def Jam, Republic, Roc Nation, UMLA, UMG UK dance releases and a section of the Universal Music Group pan-European Repertoire in France.

In his spare time, the multi-hyphenate exec likes to get his groove on, having remixed songs for Lady Gaga, among others. GG has held a position at Universal Music France for more than 20 years, working alongside the Black Eyed Peas, Gaga and Imagine Dragons. His advocacy for K-pop in France helped turn Polydor France into the nation's #1 label purveyor of the genre.

His message for us, if Google Translate is any indication, is unprintable.
