TDE/RCA’s SZA spends a seventh consecutive week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 as SOS adds another 112k to its total. SZA’s sophomore set is now the longest-running chart-topper by a female artist since Taylor Swift’s folklore in 2020. Speaking of Swift, the Capitol Hill darling comes in at #2 with Midnights (Republic).
The week’s top debuts belong to 1400/10K Projects’ Trippie Redd and Big Loud’s HARDY—they enter at #3 and #4, respectively, with Mansion Muzik posting 58k and the mockingbird & THE CROW racking up 56k. HARDY’s sophomore album already ranks at #11 in total activity for the year.
Republic acts control half the Top 10; Swift, Metro Boomin, Drake & 21 Savage, The Weeknd and Morgan Wallen maintain a dominant presence on the chart.
Other noteworthy Top 30 bows include Måneskin’s RUSH! (Arista) and Ice Spice’s Like..? (10K/Capitol).
Streeting this week are new titles from Capitol’s Sam Smith, QC/Motown’s Lil Yachty, EMI Nashville’s Tyler Hubbard, RCA’s Elle King and Bighit/Imperial’s TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
Meanwhile, with the first proper L.A. Grammy week in three years upon us, we’re finding these formal togs just don’t fit like they used to. Must’ve shrunk in the wash.
