Primary Wave, Sony and the estate of Whitney Houston are celebrating the late superstar's 60th birthday with a special Grammy-week residency at the W Hotel in Hollywood.
Beginning 2/1 with the unveiling of the makeshift "Whitney Houston Hotel," the week's events will include two days of live music with performances by Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams, WMG artists Baby Tate and Teddy Swims, Def Jam's Coco Jones and more. They will be joined by director/guitarist Freaky Rob Gueringer and an all-star band.
Fans can also avail themselves of Sony’s 360 Reality Audio Immersive Listening Lounge, a memorabilia exhibit featuring photos of Houston and gowns worn throughout her career as well as a pop-up shop with exclusive merch and electronics. On 2/3 VIP invitees will be treated to a brunch arranged by chef Deborah VanTrece and a panel discussion hosted by TV personality Kevin Frazier. The celebration will conclude on 2/4 with Primary Wave's 16th Annual Pre-Grammy Gala, co-hosted by the Houston estate.
