Our Black History Month special, which will be in your hands very soon, chronicles the work and lives of Black women creators in a range of eras and musical genres. Among the artists explored: Chaka Khan, Janet Jackson, Minnie Riperton, Cynthia Robinson, Rhiannon Giddens and Leontyne Price. We'll read of their triumphs, their timeless creations, their struggles and perspectives. We'll also be featuring brand-new creative work from some distinguished writers. Stay tuned.
