48 HOURS BOOKS AN EXTENDED HOTEL STAY

One of the most viral songs of the last half year, Hotel Ugly’s “Shut Up My Mom’s Calling” has generated plenty of streams—400m+ worldwide—and considerable buzz. Released independently, the act is repped by 48 Hours Entertainment, launched by seasoned music execs Alex Wilhelm and Steve Moir.

Hotel Ugly aka Mike Fiscella has spent 133 days on Spotify’s U.S. chart, reaching a peak of #22.

Wilhelm and Moir have maintained the artist's independence, securing a distro deal with Amuse for "Shut Up" after entertaining myriad offers.

What's next for 48 Hours and its hot property? Stay tuned. In the meantime, you can find Wilhelm at a Clippers game, where he'll be doing his best to miss a photo op with Lenny Beer.
