GOVERNORS BALL HAS NEW HOME

New York’s Governors Ball is staying in Queens, but it's moving to Flushing Meadows Corona Park for the 2023 edition, 6/9-11. Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and ODESZA will headline.

Tom Russell, co-founder of and partner in fest promoter Founders Entertainment said, "Words can’t express how excited we are to bring Gov Ball to Flushing Meadows Corona Park, one of the most special and storied parks in all of New York City. Since moving to Queens in 2021, we’ve been overwhelmed by the welcome the community has shown us, and we look forward to giving back to that community for years to come. We are honored to call such an iconic venue our new home, and we thank [New York City] Mayor [Eric] Adams and his administration and Queensborough President Donovan Richards for their trust and support." No word yet from Rosie, the queen of Corona.

The lineup includes Lil Uzi Vert, HAIM, Diplo, PJ Morton, Lil Baby, Lil Nas X and girl in red. Presales start 1/17 .

In other news, the Citi Field parking lot will be empty as workers prepare for the Yankees/Mets games 6/13-14.
