For those of you who wondered in passing if the #1 DSP smash "Kill Bill" by TDE/RCA breakout SZA had anything to do with the blood-drenched movie saga directed by Quentin Tarantino, we direct you to the new video for the song. In this grimly hilarious, Christian Breslauer-helmed mini-movie, SZA wields a Hattori Hanzo sword just as Uma Thurman's Beatrix Kiddo did in QT's revenge franchise, and the song's buzzy lyrics ("I might kill my ex") find their crimson expression in several tableaux spoofing the films. Vivica A. Fox, who played one of Tarantino's Deadly Vipers assassins in the original flick, turns in a cameo.
To accompany this exuberant exsanguination, SZA has also delivered a new four-track bundle of "Kill Bill" versions: original, sped up, instrumental and vocal. You can check 'em all out here.
