Miley Cyrus has released the first single from her forthcoming album, Endless Summer Vacation (Columbia). The song, "Flowers," centers on self-love, self-empowerment and self-improvement.
The accompanying video, directed by Jacob Bixenman, with Stephen Galloway serving as "creative movement director," finds Cyrus strolling through the Los Angeles hills, dancing and working out in a bikini as she sings, "Started to cry/ But then I remembered/ I can buy myself flowers/ Write my name in the sand."
Recorded in L.A. and produced by Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson, Endless Summer Vacation is Cyrus' eighth studio album. It's expected to arrive on 3/10.
Fans can preorder multiple physical configurations of Endless Summer Vacation here. An all-white vinyl version will be available exclusively at Target.
