Warner Music Group has partnered with DRESSX, an online fashion retailer with a massive digital closet and "deep commitment" to sustainable fashion. The partnership offers yet another avenue for artists to expand their brands and open new revenue streams while fans get to virtually try on artists' designs.
As WMG Chief Digital Officer & EVP, Business Development Oana Ruxandra noted, "As our digital identities become exponentially more robust and impactful, we are focused on building partnerships that will enable WMG and our artists."
Artists will collaborate directly with DRESSX to design and launch 3D and AR clothing fans can collect and share on Instagram, Snapchat and other partner platforms. Certainly no tatterdemalions in this bunch. Read more about DRESSX's mission here.
