Republic has appointed Beau Benton to the new role of SVP, Media & Operations. Media & Artist Relations EVP Joe Carozza made the announcement.
Benton's new role includes overseeing operations for Republic in Los Angeles alongside Co-President Wendy Goldstein in the context of both large-scale events and internal team communications.
The eight-year label vet will remain at Republic's growing Santa Monica office and continue to handle media strategy and orchestrate campaigns for label headliners like Post Malone, Eddie Vedder, Florence + the Machine, Kid Cudi, John Legend, James Blake and The Weeknd, as well as developing acts James Bay, Jeremy Zucker and Yung Gravy.
“It’s been such a pleasure working with Beau every day for the last 10 years,” said Carozza. “As a colleague and a friend, I’ve had a front-row seat to his media expertise, his love of and commitment to artists and the team and his infectious energy. He’s an incredible partner, and his leadership will continue to be invaluable to both our L.A. staff operations and media department.”
Before joining Republic in 2014 as VP of Media, Benton spent 10 years at the independent PR agency 42West.
