LEG UP

Hester Chambers and Rhian Teasdale, jointly known as Domino breakout and Grammy Best New Artist nominee Wet Leg, posed for this backstage snapshot at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas on 12/10, completing an alternative rite du passage. The L.A. modern-rock bellwether's storied holiday event took place IRL (as the kids say) for the first time since 2019, with a lineup that also boasted Imagine Dragons, The Black Keys, Social Distortion, Death Cab for Cutie, Jimmy Eat World, YUNGBLUD, The Interrupters and Wet Leg's fellow BNA nominee Måneskin.

Sadly, we didn't receive a fresh pic of KROQ PD Kevin Weatherly in time, so we decided to run this one from the Pleistocene epoch.
