We kid, of course, because Warner Records SVP Alternative & Rock Promotion Rob Goldklang and VP Rock & AAA Dave Ravikoff are, in fact, toasting their #1 year-end overall label-share standing at Alternative radio, as formalized in the latest Mediabase stats. Rumors that promo boss Mike Chester was sitting nearby strumming a ukulele while dressed as a ship's captain could not be confirmed at press time.
