SWIFT, FUTURE LEAD 2022 RIAA TALLY

The RIAA has awarded platinum and gold certifications to 13 2022 albums and 68 singles, including Taylor Swift's double-platinum tour de force Midnights (Republic) and Future's three-times-platinum single "WAIT FOR U" f/ Drake and Tems (Epic/Freebandz). Swift and Future lead the year-end tallies.

“Incredible voices and collaborations were celebrated this year with coveted RIAA gold and platinum awards, honoring artists' creative efforts, reflecting fan engagement and recognizing commercial successes alongside label partners," said RIAA CEO Mitch Glazier. "Music is a powerful connector, and these milestone achievements acknowledge the dynamic reach of the very best in 2022."

Other notable certifications this year include platinum honors for RENAISSANCE (Columbia/Parkwood) by Beyoncé, I NEVER LIKED YOU by Future, Harry's House (Columbia) by Harry Styles and 7220 by Lil Durk (Alamo).

Additionally, albums by the likes of Kodak Black, Jack Harlow and Lil Baby struck gold, while singles "As It Was" from Styles and Harlow's "First Class" joined "WAIT FOR U" in the multiplatinum category. For the full list, click here while we come to terms with our diamond-level mediocrity.
