CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD GO GLOBAL

Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, who sold 1.3m tickets on their North American stadium tour this summer, are going global next year, hitting Europe and Latin America along with a half-dozen U.S. appearances.

Alice Cooper will open the shows.

Produced by Live Nation, the U.S. leg kicks off 8/5 in Syracuse, N.Y. It follows a February-July run that includes stops in Bogota, Copenhagen and Dublin.

The presale for the U.S. dates starts 12/13; the general-public on-sale begins 10/16.
