RIDDLE ROLLS WITH WARNER RECORDS

Sam Riddle, who spent the last five years in artist management, has joined Warner Records as SVP of marketing.

Based in Los Angeles, he will report to Marketing & Artist Development EVP Dionnee Harper, who said, "Sam knows exactly what it takes to build an artist’s career and just how crucial a good marketing strategy is to that process. His marketing expertise along with his experience on the management side gives him a unique and important perspective as we look to collaborate with our artists on original campaigns that move the needle.”

The former Noisemaker was most recently VP Artist Management at Roc Nation, where he played an integral role in the TV series concept for Megan Thee Stallion’s deal with Netflix and the Off Thee Leash series on Snapchat Originals. While supporting Meek Mill, Riddle aided in the launch of the REFORM Alliance, developing the initial marketing plan for the nonprofit. He also worked on the rapper’s Championships album and helped execute his brand deals. Riddle has likewise handled marketing for Nipsey Hussle, Yo Gotti, Grimes, J. Cole and others.

Prior to his tenure at Roc Nation, he held digital-marketing and sales roles at Capitol Records, working closely with Quality Control.

Fans of old-time L.A. radio are wondering when Warner will hire a Don Steele or Humble Harv.
