JILL SCOTT RESUMES WHO IS? TOUR
Jill Scott will revive her 20th anniversary tour of Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol. 1 in 2023, three years after COVID-19 ended the run prematurely.
Scott will play the album front to back on the Live Nation Urban-promoted tour in more than 20 cities.
The now-23rd anniversary tour includes two-nighters in Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia; the final gig will be at the Hollywood Bowl on 6/22. Scott will also play the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn on 3/23 and Newark, N.J.’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center on 3/27.
"My band and I were so excited three years ago, but that damn COVID shut us down," she said. "Now, we outside! Come see me. Come feel again. Relive your favorite moments. Ya'll ready to settle down and get with this? It's a lot of love here."
Since the tour shut down in 2020, Scott has launched the podcast Jill Scott Presents: J.ill the Podcast, participated in the first woman vs. woman Verzuz battle, starred in Lifetime’s Highway to Heaven and BET+’s The First Wives Club and become the face of Nationwide.
Presales for the tour begin 12/6; the public on-sale starts 12/9.
