WRAPPED ATTENTION: SPOTIFY'S LAVISH YEAR-END WINGDING DRAWS INFLUENCERS (AND US)

As part of Spotify's 2022 Wrapped campaign, the DSP hosted an opulent, carnival-themed year-end extravaganza in L.A. on 12/1. Unfortunately for them, some HITS staffers showed up.

With custom rides, interactive games and activations inspired by breakouts like Steve Lacy, Latto and Yung Gravy, guests—who included artist Bazzi, TikTok influencers, Netflix stars and Olympic gymnasts as well as the aforementioned cesspool-dwelling trade-rag types—were surprised by a set by heiress-turned-DJ Paris Hilton, while Matt FX otherwise kept the tunes going. The evening was capped by a performance by Charli XCX.

The food and beverages were copious and comped, which meant some of the HITS folk were able to stash a few corn dogs on their persons for later consumption. Let the Hangover Cure playlist commence.

Spotify Global Head of Music Jeremy Erlich had a concise message about having to be photographed with HITS loser Simon Glickman.

VP/Head of Global Marketing Taj Alavi and Global Head of Artist Partnerships & Audience Joe Hadley flank featured performer Charli XCX just before a throng of influencers stormed the area and began influencing everyone.

HITS team members got into the carnival spirit amid a flurry of plush animals. Nicole Ghapgharan (center) named her bear Waldo; Robin Gerber dubbed her fox Philbert; and Jesse MacMillan called his cuddly stuffed beer Lenny.

DJ Paris kept the focus where it belonged.

Hadley remembered his training and froze in a jocular stance so as not to inadvertently startle HITS idiot Simon Glickman.

The hat-airbrushing booth was especially popular. But who is Lil Glicky?
