The law firms of Mark Music and Media Law, PC and Roberts and Hafitz, PLLC will join forces under the banner of Mark Music and Media Law, P.C.
Led by Los Angeles-based partners Doug Mark and David Ferreria, the new MML will field 15 lawyers in L.A. and New York, in addition to its presence in Nashville.
Jaimie Roberts and Harry Roberts will represent MMML’s N.Y. office, with Harry joining as partner and Jaimie assuming the title of counsel. Additional New York staff includes veteran attorney Michael Hafitz, senior associate Katelyn Wicks, associate Marisa Masters and corporate of counsel Stephen Goldstein. Attorney Leon Morabia, who joined MMML in August 2021 and has handled some high-profile artist deals, will remain in the New York office.
As newly constituted, the firm represents the likes of Billie Eilish, Guns N’ Roses, The Chainsmokers, Tool, Smokey Robinson, benny blanco, Amy Allen, Andrew Watt, New Kids on the Block, Pink Sweat$, Ice Spice, Danny Elfman, Atticus Ross, Lauren Spencer Smith and FINNEAS. The firm also advises the music divisions of film studios Warner Bros. (A Star Is Born, Elvis, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Suicide Squad) and MGM (No Time to Die, Respect) and such record labels and publishing companies as Arthouse Entertainment, Loma Vista and Epitaph.
