WRAPPING THE YEAR WITH SPOTIFY

Spotify has unveiled its annual Wrapped, wherein users get a deep dive into their most memorable listening moments of the year, revealing that in 2022 Bad Bunny was the most-streamed artist globally—18.5b—and his Un Verano Sin Ti (Rimas) was the most-streamed album worldwide.

Taylor Swift was the second-most-streamed artist overall and Viral Artist of the Year. Her latest album, Midnights (Republic), is only six weeks old, but it was #4 on the U.S. most-streamed albums list.

Harry Styles’ “As It Was” (Columbia) was the most-streamed song of 2022 with more than 1.6b.

To celebrate the arrival of Wrapped, the streamer will host a carnivalesque year-end blowout in Hollywood on Thursday (12/1). Showcasing insights from this year’s wrap-up, it will take place at Goya Studios. Attendees can expect rides, games and more, including a performance by Charli XCX.
