CHART FINAL: ALL EYES ON SWIFT

Republic’s Taylor Swift has returned to #1 on the HITS Top 50 as Midnights cruises to 198k in its fourth week. The set is now a few units shy of 2.5m in total activity, with 3m before year’s end looking like a possibility. Meanwhile, Swift launched the on-sale for her stadium trek with drama aplenty; the incredible demand for her first tour in five years—she sold 2m tix in a single day—created a frenzy that crashed Ticketmaster, rallied fans and prompted government scrutiny of the touring industry.

At #2 is last week’s chart-topper, Drake & 21 Savage’s Her Loss (OVO/Republic), which posts 172k in its second week.

Republic’s four-week run includes the two biggest-streaming weeks of the year, for Midnights and Her Loss.

In other HITS Top 50 news, Louis Tomlinson’s Faith in the Future (BMG) is the week’s top debut, entering at #5, followed by Bruce Springsteen’s Only the Strong Survive (Columbia) at #8 and NasKing’s Disease III (Mass Appeal) at #9. CMG/Interscope’s GloRilla earns a Top 10 bow for her debut EP, Anyways, Life’s Great.

Hollywood’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack surges to #12 during the film’s opening week, while Reprise’s Michael Bublé ushers in the holiday season with Christmas, which soars to #20.

Streeting this week are new titles by Alamo’s Rod Wave, Question Everything/RCA’s BROCKHAMPTON and Reprise’s Disturbed, as well as Sony’s 40th anniversary reissue of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
