ELTON'S YELLOW BRICK ROBLOX

Sir Elton John will return to Dodger Stadium for a series of three AEG-presented shows beginning Thursday (11/17) as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour. To supplement these historic appearances, Roblox has launched a virtual experience called Elton John Presents: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road.

The 10-minute live performances takes place in Sir Elton's virtual experience on Roblox. The set list includes several of his biggest hits, including "Rocket Man," "Hold Me Closer" and "Don’t Go Breaking My Heart." The pop icon's avatar will reflect his distinctive sartorial sensibility.

Created by the superstar in collaboration with Rocket Entertainment and Roblox creators—with support from UMG—Elton John: Beyond The Yellow Brick Road was introduced earlier this month. It's attracted more than a million visits from fans in all 180 countries where Roblox is available.

Performances will re-air hourly until the end of John’s final U.S. show on Sunday, 11/20. After that, Elton John: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road will continue to live on Roblox as an "immersive capsule of his craft in the metaverse," whatever that means.

As for the Dodger Stadium shows, we think it's going to be a long, long time before we get tickets, so we'll just have to watch the three-hour special on Disney+ like the rest of the commoners.
