The Federation of International Football Independents (FIFA) has recruited Nicki Minaj, Maluma and Myriam Fares for "Tukoh Taka," the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar anthem and first FIFA single featuring English, Spanish and Arabic. The official FIFA Fan Festival track arrives on Friday (11/18) via Universal Arabic Music, UMG and Republic and serves as the inaugural offering from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack.
For those unfamiliar with Maluma, the Colombia native won a Latin Grammy Award winner for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album for F.A.M.E. in 2018. As for Fares, the Lebanese singer arrived on the Arabic music scene with her debut album Myriam in 2003 and has since exploded in popularity. Her dance challenge, set to her “Goumi” single, surpassed 10b views on TikTok alone. The FIFA World Cup Qatar kicks off on 11/20 and wraps up on 12/18. In the meantime, pre-save "Tukoh Taka" here, while we dig up our Granny-Scarves.
