TAKEOFF MEMORIAL DRAWS SOLD-OUT CROWD

A celebration of the life of Migos rapper Takeoff was held at State Farm Arena in his hometown of Atlanta today (11/11). Reserved solely for Georgia residents, tickets sold out in seconds. A line wrapped around the building as fans stood in the rain waiting to pay their respects.

Quavo, Offset and his wife, Cardi B, were spotted heading into the arena, as were Alicia Keys and Justin Bieber, who performed during the service.

Takeoff was shot and killed at a downtown Houston bowling alley on 11/1; an investigation is ongoing.

His family asks that donations be made to the newly established Rocket Foundation, an organization supporting programs that aim to end gun violence, including the Community Justice Action Fund, H.O.P.E. Hustlers, Live Free and Offenders Alumni Association. Find more information here.
