Sony Music’s Rob Stringer and company have been on a terrific run of late, and the label group’s newly posted fiscal Q2 numbers project a stunning $10b year. With stupendous streams and powerful pub action—and a combination of superstars and new and developing acts including Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Future, Doja Cat, Steve Lacy and Lil Durk making big noise—there’s a lot to celebrate in those numbers. If only Rob could subtract us from the equation.
