ASCAP REVEALS WOMEN BEHIND THE MUSIC HONOREES

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Joelle James, Femme It Forward founder/CEO Heather Lowery and Nixon Peabody attorney Carron Joan Mitchell will be honored at ASCAP's 2022 Women Behind the Music.

Celebrating female songwriters, artists and executives, the event—presented by the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul department—will take place Wednesday (10/26) at Nua at the Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Previous honorees include Kandi Burruss, Kelly Rowland, Shari Bryant, Nicole Wyskoarko, Salt-N-Pepa, Jazmine Sullivan, Victoria Monét, Sheila E., Brittney Davis, Nova Wav, Phylicia Fant and more.

Influencer Robin Ayers will take over ASCAP Urban’s Instagram stories, giving viewers an inside look at all the action behind the scenes of Women Behind the Music.
