UPDATE: The release of Drake and 21 Savage's joint effort, Her Loss (OVO/Republic), has been pushed back to 11/4. According to an Instagram post from Mr. Champagne Papi himself, OVO producer Noah "40" Shebib tested positive for COVID-19 and won't be able to complete the project by its original, 10/28 release date.
"Our brother @OVO40 got Covid while mixing and mastering the crack so he's resting up," Drake explained. "November 4th is HER LOSS day. We'll see you soon."
The two rap titans announced the project earlier this week with a video for "Jimmy Cooks," their collaborative single from Drake's latest album, Honestly, Nevermind. Stay tuned for updates.
Drake and 21 Savage dropped a teaser video Saturday afternoon announcing a surprise release (remember those?). Their joint album, Her Loss (OVO/Republic), hits next Friday, 10/28.
Drizzy and the Slaughter King previously collaborated on “Jimmy Cooks” from the former's latest LP, Honestly Nevermind. They perform the title track from that set in the clip. The surprise announcement arrives toward the end of the Mahfuz Sultan-directed video.
