Warner's Chester, Dyer and crew move David Guetta & Bebe Rexha's "I'm Good (Blue)" (Parlophone U.K.) into the Top 10, while Republic's Team Spangler has The Weeknd’s "Die for You" (XO) entering the Top 20 and BMG's Leipsner puts AJR's "World's Smallest Violin" in the Top 25. Republic also has two debuts this week as Drake's "Jimmy Cooks” f/21 Savage (Epic) and Taylor Swift’s "Anti-Hero" both hit the chart.
Meanwhile, at Rhythm, Epic’s Sackheim and squad look like they’ll take DJ Khaled’s “STAYING ALIVE” f/Drake & Lil Baby (We the Best/Capitol) to #1 this week, narrowly edging out Team Lori and Inca at RCA, who have Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit” (L-M) zeroing in on #2. Dixie Tipton and the Capitol gang have City Girls’ “Good Love” f/Usher coming in at #5, while Strazza and Columbia see both Lil Nas X’s “STAR WALKIN’” and Beyoncé’s “CUFF IT” (Parkwood) enter the Top 15. Capitol also has Lil Baby landing on the chart this week with “Heyy,” while Interscope’s EST Gee, guided by Nino Cuccinello, makes his debut with “Backstage Passes” f/Jack Harlow.
And at Modern Rock, Nick Petropoulos and his super-hot Arista team have the new #1 with Beach Weather’s “Sex, Drugs, Etc.” They also score a strong debut with Måneksin’s “The Loneliest.” Warner’s Rob Goldklang continues his banner year as Gorillaz’s “Cracker Island” f/Thundercat rises to #2 and Muse’s “You Make Me Feel Like It’s Halloween” makes its chart debut. blink-182’s “EDGING,” guided by Columbia’s Lisa Sonkin and Darice Lee, rockets to #6 this week with an increase of over 1,200 spins, while Dirty Hit’s The 1975 approaches the Top 15 with “I’m in Love With You” as the band’s new album garners 100m+ global streams its first week of release.
