U.K. CHARTS: THE 1975 SCORE FIFTH #1

The 1975 has its fifth #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with Being Funny in a Foreign Language (Dirty Hit). Sam Smith and Kim Petras remain on top at singles.

Being Funny in a Foreign Language outsold the rest of the Top 5 combined. Red Hot Chili PeppersReturn of the Dream Canteen (Warner Records) is #2, while Lil Baby has a solo best with It's Only Me (Motown/Quality Control), at #3.

Alter Bridge’s Pawns & Kings (Napalm) is #4. The Big Moon’s Here Is Everything (Fiction) is also new, at #9. Rapper Rimzee’s self-released third mixtape, Cold Feet, is his first Top 20, at #11, while a reissue of Dexys Midnight Runners' 1982 set, Too-Rye-Ay (Mercury), charts at #14.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Smith and Petras’ “Unholy” (Capitol) has claimed a fourth week at #1.

“PSYCHO” (Atlantic) by Anne-Marie and Aitch continues to gain new heights, up three places to #6. Stormzy’s “Hide & Seek” (Def Jam 0207) is the highest new entry, starting at #7.

“Miss You” (Atlantic), Oliver Tree and Robin Schulz's collaboration, breaks the Top 20 for the first time, rising 19 spots to #9. “Messy in Heaven” (Sony) by venbee and goddard. jumps six spots to #14, Afrobeats star Rema reaches a new peak, with “Calm Down” (Interscope) at #16, and Central Cee’s self-released “One Up” is new at #17.
