On 10/22, Amazon Music and Prime Video will livestream Kendrick Lamar's Big Steppers Tour stop at the Accor Arena in Paris (that's in the 12th arrondisement, in case you were wondering), bringing the Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers concert experience onto devices around the world.
Beginning at 2pm ET, K. Dot fans in 240+ territories will be able to watch the livestream for free exclusively on Prime Video, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music app. The stream will also include sets by pgLang’s Baby Keem and Tanna Leone. Following the livestream, the show will be available on demand via Prime Video.
The performance coincides with the 10th anniversary of Lamar's triple-platinum sophomore album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, which earned seven Grammy noms in 2014.
“As a kid from the west side of Compton, hearing good kid, m.A.A.d city for the first time and seeing Kendrick’s journey from neighborhood hero to global superstar ignited a fire in me that I’m forever grateful for," said Amazon Music Head of R&B/Hip Hop Tim Hinshaw. "It showed me that no matter where you start in life, hard work and dedication will put you where you hope and dream to be."
Lamar is garnering significant buzz in multiple Grammy categories this year, including Best Rap Album for Mr. Morale and Best Rap Song, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for "The Heart Pt. 5."
