On Thursday night (10/13), Range Music/Capitol’s TALK hit the stage at L.A.’s Troubadour for a sold-out show. The Ottawa native, aka Nick Durocher, brought his powerful stage presence to the densely populated room with a set that included his hit single, “Run Away to Mars,” which is nearing the Top 20 at Alt radio and currently Top 25 at Triple A.
Moments after concluding his set, the singer-songwriter was corralled into a photo op with his team and HITS losers Jesse MacMillan and Nicole Ghapgharan. Seen trying not to think about Dan Tana’s chicken parmigiana are (l-r) Range Music's Matt Graham, Ghapgharan, TALK, MacMillan, ArtHaus Music's Cormac McGee and Range Music's Tyler Henry and Cameron Lutz. Later, everyone marveled as to how the HITS’ weasels keep managing to talk their way into these events.
