MACKLEMORE, RYAN LEWIS & ADA CELEBRATE RIAA MILESTONE

Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis' 2012 single "Can't Hold Us" f/ Ray Dalton has been certified Diamond by the RIAA. Taken from The Heist (distributed by Warner's ADA), which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week, the single landed at #1 upon its initial release and was Spotify's most-streamed song in 2013. It also earned a Best Music Video Grammy nod in 2014.

ADA Worldwide was instrumental in the duo's early success. The company’s President, Cat Kreidich, said, "To land two RIAA Diamond singles is no easy feat—it’s a testament to the incredible artists that Ben and Ryan are and to what’s possible through the power of a true partnership. Diamond certifications make up less than 1% of RIAA’s Gold & Platinum program. As RIAA CPO Morna Willens said, "In the Gold & Platinum program’s nearly 65 years, this rare milestone marks the duo’s second Diamond certified single, and we look forward to many more in their future. Congratulations to Ryan, Macklemore and the ADA team!”
