Fare thee well: Dead & Co. will start their final lap around the country next year, beginning with two shows at L.A.’s Kia Forum on 5/19 and 20 and wrapping—where else?—in San Francisco.
As usual, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and John Mayer, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti, will perform two sets of music nightly, drawing from the Grateful Dead’s catalog.
The Live Nation-produced tour includes double-headers at Wrigley Field (6/9-10) and Citi Field (6/21-22), a three-night stand at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo. (7/1-3) and a finale at Oracle Park (7/14-15).
Advance pre-sale registration is now open; the pre-sale begins 10/12. Tickets go on sale to the general public 10/14. Blotter acid sold separately.
